The CARICOM Competition Commission (CCC) is pleased to announce its Inaugural Competition and Consumer Welfare Conference, to be held virtually from 20–23 July 2026.

The conference will bring together leading international experts, competition authorities, consumer protection agencies, policymakers, regulators, academics, and practitioners to discuss emerging issues in competition law and policy, consumer protection, digital markets, market enforcement, and regional cooperation.

The first four days of the conference will feature presentations and panel discussions on a range of contemporary competition and consumer welfare topics. Friday, 24 July 2026, will be dedicated to a special programme for sector regulators, focusing on the interface between regulation, competition, and consumer protection.

The conference forms part of the CCC’s ongoing commitment to strengthening competition policy and consumer welfare across the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME) by facilitating knowledge sharing and fostering collaboration with regional and international partners.

The event will be held virtually, making it accessible to participants throughout the Caribbean and beyond. Registration details and the virtual meeting link will be announced shortly.
