Empowering the Next Generation of
Fair Consumers and Business Leaders
At the CARICOM Competition Commission, we believe that building a fair and competitive Caribbean Single Market and Economy (CSME) starts with educating our youth. That’s why we’re actively working with regional partners—especially the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC®)—to integrate key principles of competition and consumer protection into subjects taught at the CSEC® and CAPE® levels.
By helping students understand their rights and responsibilities as consumers and the importance of healthy business competition, we aim to equip them to make informed decisions and become future leaders who uphold fairness, innovation, and accountability in the marketplace.
Whether through classroom presentations, essay competitions, or new learning materials, the Commission is committed to making competition and consumer awareness part of every student’s journey.
Explore this space to discover how we’re shaping the next generation of responsible consumers and ethical business minds across the region.
